The Aleis Fixed Reader 6404 is a custom built abattoir reader specifically designed to read all working RFID ear tags that have been removed from the animal. Ear tags are scanned by waving them across the antenna that is mounted under the stainless steel box. The Aleis 6404 has storage capacity of up to 100,000 RFID numbers and displays accurate results in a single file RFID number format. High visibility LEDs indicate when the device is turned on and in operation. The system is built to withstand abattoir conditions.
Controlled by its own power supply and transient protector, the 6404 is easily compatible with all current software packages capable of accepting RFID numbers in real time. The 6404 will send numbers directly to a computer and gives the user the ability to clear the memory from the reader or computer.
